This study compared glaucoma drainage devices (GDDs) and cyclophotocoagulation (CPC) for silicone oil-induced glaucoma. GDDs showed higher success rates and better IOP control than CPC, suggesting GDDs are more effective despite CPC's easier application.

This study found both short and long duration cyclophotocoagulation effectively lowered glaucoma eye pressure, but long duration treatment may worsen vision and inflammation, favoring shorter burns clinically.
