Outcomes of lensectomy and risk factors for failure in spherophakic eyes with secondary glaucoma.
Lensectomy was effective in controlling IOP in close to half of all eyes with spherophakia and secondary glaucoma, 40% eyes needed AGM and only 7.7% eyes needed glaucoma surgery for IOP control.
Cataract surgery in children with retinopathy of prematurity (ROP): surgical outcomes.
Cataracts may develop in children with ROP regardless of the modality of intervention. Postoperative complications and refractive changes are similar to those in eyes without ROP.
Clinical Presentation and Management Outcomes of Coexistent Congenital Glaucoma and Retinopathy of Prematurity.
Out of 15,000 premature-infants in the database, 3000 children had ROP, and of these 87 eyes of 57 premature children had glaucoma.
