Exploring Effects of Age at the Onset of Myopia on Multiple Diseases Using Electronic Health Records.

Younger myopia onset links to higher risks of retinal detachment, cataracts, vitreous disorders, and hypothyroidism. Early intervention for myopia may mitigate these comorbidities.
