Nd:YAG Laser Iridotomy Versus Surgical Iridectomy in Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty: Comparison of Postoperative Outcome and Incidence of Ocular Hypertension.
Postoperative pupillary block after DMEK occurs significantly more often after preoperative Nd:YAG laser iridotomy compared with surgical intraoperative iridectomy but does not negatively affect long-term visual outcome or glaucoma incidence after DMEK.
Ten-Year Follow-Up After Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty.
Although ECD decreases continuously in the long-term follow-up, excellent visual acuity can be preserved 10 years after DMEK and Triple-DMEK. The final outcome can be estimated 6 months after surgery.
